Never Have I Ever Questions

About this deck
Sixty rounds of the classic confession game, written from scratch and kept clean enough for mixed company. The format is unbeatable: someone reads a card, everyone who HAS done the thing raises a hand (or loses a point, or a finger from ten), and the room immediately demands the story behind every raised hand. The stories are the game.
The prompts here mine everyday life rather than scandal: returning a wave meant for someone else, pretending to know a song, walking into a glass door with witnesses. Everyone has done a third of this deck, nobody has done all of it, and finding out which third someone's done is a shockingly efficient way to know them better. It plays equally well at a party, a sleepover, a team offsite, or around a family table.
Standard scoring: everyone starts with ten points and drops one per guilty round; last player standing wins, though nobody's really counting by round twenty. Heart the prompts that produced the best stories — they're saved in your browser, and the session report collects them with a copy button for the group chat afterward.
Frequently asked questions
- How do you play never have I ever?
- Read a card aloud. Everyone who HAS done the thing raises a hand or drops a point from ten. Anyone who raises a hand can be asked for the story — that part is mandatory in spirit.
- Are these prompts appropriate for all ages?
- Yes — the deck is deliberately clean. It's embarrassment-based, not scandal-based, so it works for families, classrooms, and workplaces as well as parties.
- Do I need drinks to play this?
- No — points, fingers, or honor all work. If your group wants a drinking version, the separate drinking-game deck on this site handles that (with a play-responsibly note).
- Can I save the best prompts?
- Yes — heart them during play and copy the list from the session report afterward.
