About this deck

This is the deck for the hour when the party thins to the people who actually know each other. Forty cards of bolder confessions, hot-seat rounds, and truth-heavy prompts — the questions that need a little trust in the room before they work. Bolder here means more honest, not more crude: everything in the deck is written to be tasteful, and nothing requires anyone to overshare beyond what they choose.

The formats vary card to card: some are open confessions with an optional sip cost, some put one player in the hot seat for a round, some ask the group to vote and then make the winner talk. The common thread is that every card is engineered to produce a story or an admission that the room will still be discussing next week. Skipping is always legal — the deck plays fine with a 'reader takes over' rule for any card someone waves off.

The first five cards are free to preview. The full deck comes with QuestionCard Plus — $9 once, which also opens every other premium deck, unlimited custom decks in the builder, and print export. If drinks are on the table, sips are the unit and water counts in full; adults only, and take care of each other.

Frequently asked questions

How explicit does this deck get?
It doesn't. "After dark" means more honest and more personal — crushes, regrets, near-misses, secrets of the mild-to-medium variety — not explicit content. Every card is written to stay tasteful.
How is it different from the free drinking deck?
The free deck is broad party energy for any group. This one assumes more familiarity: deeper confessions, hot-seat rounds, and questions that reward a room where people actually trust each other.
Why is this deck premium?
You can play the first 5 cards free. The full 40 are part of QuestionCard Plus — a one-time $9 purchase that includes every premium deck, unlimited builder decks, and print export.
Does it require drinking?
No. Every sip cost doubles as a points cost, and water counts fully where drinks are involved. The game runs on honesty, not alcohol — play responsibly either way.
