About this deck

Sixty would-you-rather dilemmas where both options are actually defensible — because that's the entire craft of the genre. A would-you-rather with an obvious answer is just a survey; a good one splits the room close to the middle and generates ten minutes of increasingly personal argument about elevators, time travel, and soup.

Every question here is original and written to be playable anywhere: family tables, classrooms, road trips, offices. No gross-out options, nothing that requires money or courage the players don't have — just clean forks in the road where the interesting part is hearing someone defend their pick. The follow-up question is always 'why,' and it's always where the fun lives.

House rules worth trying: everyone answers before anyone explains; committed answers only (no 'depends'); and if the group splits exactly evenly, the card gets saved for a rematch. Speaking of saving — heart the cards that caused the best arguments and they'll be in your browser for next time, with a copy list in the session report.

Frequently asked questions

What makes a good would-you-rather question?
Balance. If ninety percent of people pick the same side, it's a dud. The questions here are engineered so a reasonable person can argue either side — that's what starts the debate.
Are these questions kid-friendly?
Yes — the whole deck is clean. Classrooms, family dinners, and youth groups can run it unfiltered.
How do you play would-you-rather with a group?
Draw a card, everyone locks in a side (point left or right on three), then go around and defend. No 'it depends' — commitment is the game.
Can I save the best ones?
Yes — tap the heart on any card and it's saved in your browser. The session report lists your favorites with one-tap copy.
